Our General Principles
The Eid Festival in Victoria Park is organised by Leicester Community Assist (LCA), a UK-registered charity No.: 1166711. For more information about LCA, please log in to LCAssist.com. The ‘Eid Festival’ in Victoria Park is a non-profitable event offered freely to all communities of Leicester irrespective of their gender, age, faith, colour, race, and social background.
It occurs twice a year, i.e., Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. The festival starts with the 'Eid Prayer' followed by the 'Eid Speech' and a full-day festival according to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAAW). The EF organisers and volunteers work entirely free of charge.

Over the last couple of years, the Eid festival has become an important and wonderful day out for my children. The Eid festival has so much to offer that the whole family of all ages enjoys the day. The key feature which is the morning prayer provides a moment of peace and education on this holy day. The Eid festival has now become part of our family’s traditions and we cannot imagine Eid day without outdoor prayer and festivities.
This is to express our joy and happiness with having an Eid party in Victoria Park the event was very nice and the gathering was a good means for the community to interact with each other. The only issue was the sound system that was not working in the beginning to hear the speech.
Salam Alaikum. I want to inform you that Eid salat it s very appreciated by us and our relatives. This year again, it was a great moment. This event is essential and must be preserved. Make efforts to keep the Eid festival at Victoria park. Thank you.
My family and I have been attending the eid festival for many years. It is a beautiful celebration which is shared with many families. The prayer is very special and really brings the Community together. My kids and my grandchildren love the rides and we all love the food. It really is a happy event and we all look forward to it every year. We really can’t wait for the next one Insha’Allaah.
