The ‘Eid Festival’ in Victoria Park Leicester is a non-profitable charity event offered freely to all Leicester communities irrespective of gender, age, faith, colour, race, and social background. It occurs twice a year, i.e., Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adhha. The celebration is for one day and is open to the entire family: men, women, and children. The festival starts with the ‘Eid Prayer’ followed by the ‘Eid Speech’ according to the honourable Prophet’s Sunnah followed by a festival including funfairs, amusements and inflatable attractions, traders’ stalls, food, and drinks and much more. The Eid Festival organisers and volunteers work entirely free of charge. The Eid Festival aims at reviving the Prophet’s Sunnah, promoting multicultural Leicester, and combating Islamophobia.

The Eid Festival is very popular not only amongst the Muslim community but also among other communities in Leicester and beyond. In recent years, attendance exceeds 80K for both Eid Festivals. The festival arena is > 170×170 square meters and fenced by Heras anti-vandal anti-climb fence panels providing >680x2m² area for you to display your own promotion banners and ads.
